The Venue: Villa Monte Solare in Perugia, Italy


Taylor and Bobby’s choice of venue couldn’t have been more perfect. Villa Monte Solare is a luxurious, tranquil escape where time seemed to slow down. Allowing everyone to savor each moment. The villa’s natural beauty and stunning views set the tone for the couple’s vision of an intimate, elegant wedding that felt like it was made for this day. 


Guests arrived via a coach bus from Rome, and the villa became home for a few days—a perfect, distraction-free retreat! The adventure began with a welcome pizza party (because, Italy!). The courtyard was filled with laughter, pizza, wine, and Aperol Spritz—setting the vibe. 🍕✨


The villa’s general manager, Alessio, ensured every detail was perfect, from the rooms to the flow of the events.

Pool Party


Taylor and Bobby knew that a pool party was the perfect prelude to the main event. Before the wedding, the pool became the perfect spot for everyone to hang out, relax, and enjoy each other’s company.


With no distractions (other than the breathtaking views), it was a day to kick back and dip under the Italian sun. Charcuterie boards, poolside games, and casual hangs with the couple made it a day to remember.


I loved how intentional they were about creating space for everyone to connect before the wedding. It wasn’t just about the big day; it was about the entire experience.

Rehearsal Dinner


All guests gathered at the villa for the rehearsal dinner at 6 PM, enjoying a family-style BBQ with beer and soft drinks provided. The evening was a relaxed and enjoyable gathering, filled with delicious food and warm conversation. Having the entire Villa for their guests made the weekend feel relaxed and the couple was able to spend quality time with their guests. Not to mention, it was a great vacation for the guests!

The Morning Together


The morning of the wedding was sweet and serene, and filled with quiet anticipation. Taylor and Bobby chose to spend some time together, enjoying the villa’s atmosphere before the day’s festivities.


If love had a soundtrack, it would be the peaceful rustling of olive trees and the soft Italian breeze—it was like watching the calm before the wedding storm (but in the best way possible).


And it was just them, soaking in the beauty of what was to come.

The Wedding Day


Italy has this way of slowing everything down, and that’s exactly how Taylor and Bobby’s wedding day unfolded—calm, unhurried, and full of love. One of the most touching moments was Taylor’s first look with her dad and brothers (there wasn't a dry eye in the room!). It was these little moments that made the day feel so deeply personal.


When it was time for Taylor to walk down the aisle, all eyes were on Bobby. Watching him tear up as Taylor approached was one of the most heartwarming moments of the day. The couple chose to save their first look for the ceremony, and the moment they saw each other was truly priceless. The ceremony was intimate, emotional, and personal, with the beauty of the villa’s gardens adding to the romance of the day. Everyone was soaking in the magic of not just the villa, but the incredible bond between Taylor and Bobby.

Taylor's First Look with her Dad and Brothers


Taylor's Dad and her have a bond that is unbreakable. Her and her brothers are also close. Her dad wore his police dress-blues uniform. There wasn't a dry eye in the room!

Taylor and Bobby's Moment Before Ceremony


Taylor and Bobby didn't want to do a first look. That's why they went for a first touch. This was a great way to help settle their nerves, and have a moment together before the ceremony began. Bobby was full of emotion and it was very beautiful to witness the two of them together.

The Ceremony


All the planning and anticipation for this moment. It's time to witness Taylor and Bobby say their I-do's and make it official! Surrounded by lemon trees and an orchestra, the scene was set and the tears were flowing.

Couples’ Portraits and Post-Ceremony Photos


After the ceremony, the newlyweds ran off to have a quiet moment alone (and of course, for some stunning couples’ portraits around the villa). This is where the editorial portraits really came into play- it captured the raw, real emotions of the day. From intimate glances to laughter-filled moments, these photos told their love story in the most authentic way. The villa’s stunning architecture provided the perfect backdrop, but it was their love that truly stole the show.


The light was golden, the couple was glowing, and everything felt like it belonged in the pages of a magazine.


Once we wrapped up, we circled back to the main courtyard for some fun family and group shots during cocktail hour. The sun began to set, and it was the perfect time to gather everyone and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Reception Celebration!


What’s a wedding without an unforgettable reception? The evening continued with dinner under the stars. Guests dined on delicious Italian fare, and just when they thought the night couldn’t get any better, Bobby’s cultural tradition of cake cutting had everyone joining in on the fun!


First dances, speeches, and games throughout the dinner were touches that embraced the couples relationship, and also kept guests entertained. Later in the night, one of the guests wrote a personal song for the couple and performed it live—it was a show-stopper! Between the cake, the music, and the joy, this was a night that no one wanted to end.

From the serene moments they shared before the ceremony to the pure joy and raw emotions that unfolded throughout the day, it felt like I was witnessing a real-life love story unfold. The intimacy of the villa and the close-knit group of loved ones created an environment where every glance, laugh, and tear felt deeply personal.
