I have been a photographer for 15+ years. In 2018, I rebranded and decided to take my business to the next level. So, you are wondering what you get when you book me. You are getting my years of experience, bad jokes, and great photos of your life. I have continually trained and mentored. It's a choice I make to never stop learning and striving to be the best I can be. That way, you can be confident that during your wedding or session, I know what I'm doing and I'm not "winging it"! I have invested a lot into ensuring I have all the proper equipment and training to document your story.
How can I go above and beyond to give you a great experience?
Every session or event that I do, I try to make it an amazing experience for you. I want to make it personal for you and I want you to have fun! So many people say they are awkward in front of the camera, who isn't?! I will put you at ease and capture your love, and more importantly, I will capture the feeling and emotion. I am so thrilled when clients say "this is fun!", "this isn't awkward at all!" during a session. It shouldn't be :) Just be you! We're just hanging out.
In my packages I do not limit the photos you receive. Whatever good photos we take, I edit, and give you at no extra cost. I try to look at it as if I were the client in order to ensure I am giving you value and your moneys worth. I specialize in elopements and intimate weddings. I do love photographing other big moments in your life too though.
I am within a community of awesome photographers at all different levels. If I am not what you're looking for or what suits your budget (we ALL have a budget, I get it!), then I will happily refer you to someone who I feel will suit your needs better. :) #communityovercompetition

Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes please! Let's chat.
Will there be a second shooter?
If you want there to be! However, I can work with you and the timeline to ensure I am everywhere I need to be to document everything that is important to you.
Can I request you stay longer the day of my wedding?
You want me to stay and document your party? Heck yes!
What kind of gear do you use?
I use a Nikon cameras. I primarily use my 35 mm and have my other body/lenses with me if needed. I am always investing in new equipment as required.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Of course not. However, I can take some stress off you by making your wedding album for you. Ask me about pricing and packages.
Will you travel?
Of course! I would love to travel more within Ontario and explore this beautiful province with adventurous people. I would love, love to travel more within Canada and also around the world!
Do you require a deposit?
To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit is required. For weddings, a 25% deposit is required.
What other vendors do you recommend?
There are so many talented people that I have met within the wedding community. I have a list I can forward you based on your wedding. Even if you don't book me, I also have other photographers I can recommend. #communityovercompetition

What location can we shoot in?
I always offer my farm as a location to offer a variety of backdrops. However, I love going to other places too. Especially if there's a place that has meaning to you!!
I hired another photographer for my wedding, but I am interested in hiring your team for video. Is that okay?
Although I am bummed you didn't hire us for photos, we are more than happy to do your video still!!
I want to hire one of your Associate Photographers. Do they cost the same?
The Black Saddle Team has been hand picked to represent the brand. They are all so incredible and great at what they do. My Associate Photographers Collections are a lower rate than mine. This is great for couples! Inquire for more details.
