Nostalgic Vibes Wedding: Fielding Memorial Park, Lively, ON.

I met Brooke + Curtis a year before because they won a giveaway I held. We instantly connected. I did photos of them at The Northridge Inn and it was honestly one of the most fun and easiest sessions I've ever done. They even jumped into the pool fully clothed. It was amazing. Their connection was very obvious. The love they have for each other was beautiful and easy.


Brooke + Curtis ended up switching some details of their wedding so that I was able to be the one to document it for them. How touching?! I was honoured. Brooke really wanted the nostalgic vibe to shine through and gave me full creative freedom to document their day as I saw it. They paired their Collection with a Mini Moments video. The photos and the video paired together are such a great way to re-live their day.


Their wedding was exactly how I pictured it. Fully of love. So many laughs. And sooo beautiful. The details were perfect. One of the best parts, Brooke surprised Curtis with a little concert and even learned how to play the harmonica for him!!! She's insanely talented.

"Curtis and I cannot say enough good things about Sara and her business Black Saddle Photography. We were lucky enough to meet and experience her amazing talent through an Instagram contest before hiring her to photograph our wedding.



We had won our very first professional photography session ever, and we were so relieved when we met Sara. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, gave us direction and guidance, all while letting us shine as ourselves through the photos. She made it so fun and easy, It instantly felt like she was one of my friends taking pictures of us (She even got my husband to enjoy having his photo taken, which hasn’t ever happened before!)


Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her. She truly helped us pull it all together; from helping me with my vision, day of timeline, and constant communication throughout the process.



On top of it all, she is amazingly kind, thoughtful, so much fun, and the calming presence you need on your day! Our families and friends loved her, and we are still getting compliments about “how cool our photographer was”.
