A Unique Muskoka Wedding at The Northridge Inn

September 24, 2022

Okay, buckle up. This wedding has no short of wedding inspiration, bridal inspiration, and décor inspiration! The Northridge Inn in Muskoka, Ontario, was the perfect backdrop for this punk rock, country, classic, wedding! I am not sure how the couple managed to blend all three of those vibes, but it worked!! It worked wayyyyyy better than I could have ever imagined. The wedding sparkled, yet was dark and moody. It was classic, yet was also country AND punk rock. This just proves that you CAN in fact have the wedding of your dreams, no matter your style or vision. Sierra + Peter's wedding wasn't just visually stunning though. It was filled with so many laughs and tears. It's very clear that their friends and family love and support them so much. Everyone that was there was there for a reason. Seeing those connections and being able to document their story was truly an honour.

Sierra + Peter hired all of the best wedding vendors from North Bay to Toronto. The Northridge Inn was the location and provided much more than that. They did the food (which is always so delicious). They are essentially your planners and decorators. Every corner and every room has something unique to see. If you want a stress free wedding - think of getting married at the Northridge Inn. A bonus, all of your guests can stay and you can make a weekend out of your wedding. Even more time to mingle with your friends + family.

The florals were all done by the floral wizard, Jessy Beck Design. I seriously don't know how she does it. Every wedding is so unique to the couple, so wild, yet refined. It's just perfect. The dried florals were by Day Dream Dried Florals. These were the perfect touch for the dock/aisle!

The suits and dresses were all from Superior Bridal (Ricca Sposa Designer), Calvin Klein, Park and Fifth Co., and Moores. Some of the accessories were from Olivia + Piper. Sierra picked the most beautiful and fun accessories to pull her vision together. Her dress was so sparkly and the accessories paired perfectly. She opted to switch up her shoes and earrings later in the night. And paired that with her amazing personalized denim jacket with her new last name on it. Everything was so thought out and intentional.

Sierra and the girls couldn't have looked more beautiful. Melissa Koprash did all of their hair, and Ashley Joyes did all of their makeup. The looks lasted well into the wee hours of the morning.

Todd from Waxman Records + Entertainment took care of all of the music from the ceremony to the reception and well into the night! Todd always made sure the guests were on their feet having a good time!

Jessicakes created the perfect cake to suite the decors and theme. It fit seamlessly into the stunning table scape that the team at Northridge Inn put together. It was giving me "Alice in Wonderland" vibes. There was no shortage of desserts put out. And they not only looked delicious, they also tasted delicious.....insert a visual of me drooling.
